Children’s Rights, Issy-les-Moulineaux

In the framework of the partnership between the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation (FASEJ) and the City of Issy-les-Moulineaux, an important event inspired by the exceptional life, symbolic work and universal humanist values of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will be organised from 4 to 30 November 2011 at Issy-les-Moulineaux for the 9th edition of the children’s rights festival, under the supervision of the CLAVIM.

Partnership with the Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation

The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation (FASEJ) and the Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation decided to form new bonds by initiating a unique partnership in benefit of the youth of the Maison d'enfants à caractère social (M.E.C.S.) Saint-Exupéry of the Saint-Philippe educational village in Meudon.

18 & 19 June 2011: Saint-Dizier Air Force Base air show (France)

A large-scale air show will be held on 18 and 19 June 2011 at the 113 French Air Force Base in Saint-Dizier (Haute-Marne) with the participation of the Patrouille de France (Acrobatic Aerial Patrol of the French Air Force). Numerous planes, both vintage and modern, civil and military, French and foreign, will perform aerobatic stunts, and multiple activities are also planned on the ground. The patron of the 113 Air Force Base is Major Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who served on this base from December 1939 to June 1940.Le parrain de la BA 113 est le Commandant Antoine de Saint-Exupéry qui servit sur la base de décembre 1939 à juin 1940.

Talk by Jean-Pierre Guéno

Writer and publishing director of Radio France, Jean-Pierre Guéno, gave a private talk entitled “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: For an Ecology of the Soul” in Lille on 7 April 2011 in support of our Foundation, which was inspired by his book La mémoire du Petit Prince (The Memoir of the Little Prince)*, published by Éditions Jacob-Duvernet.
