ACTION : Social and professional integration of marginalised people
COUNTRY : France
Since its creation in 1993, the Regard’en France Cie non-profit organisation, which became the Centre Ressources Théâtre Handicap (Handicap Theatre Resource Centre – CRTH) in 2006, has contributed to the social and professional integration of marginalised people.
In 2010, the organisation asked for the support of the Foundation to finalise works for the creation of pedagogical spaces of the O Clair de la Lune School, the CRTH’s training centre created in 2004. In 2009, this first theatre school in Europe accessible to all gathered together 31 teachers and 380 students. Its mission aims to change behaviours and the perceptions of society about handicaps. In this way, it draws on Law No. 2005-102 for equality of rights and opportunities, the participation and citizenship of handicapped people. A handicap and civic mission in conformity with the Foundation’s philosophy.
