On February 10, 2026, in the Salon Cristal of the iconic Hôtel Lutetia, winemaker Gérard Bertrand and Olivier d’Agay, president of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Foundation for Youth, unveiled KOSMOS, a new wine collection born from the convergence of winemaking, literary inspiration, and environmental commitment.

This event also marked the announcement of a ten-year partnership between Gérard Bertrand wines and the Foundation, with a shared ambition: to encourage initiatives promoting biodiversity and to pass on to younger generations the values of humanism and responsibility so dear to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

From the Invisible to the Work

Conceived as much as an artistic gesture as a wine, the biodynamic creation of these vintages pays tribute to the work and humanistic legacy of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, as 2026 marks the 80th anniversary of the first publication of *The Little Prince* in France.

“Kosmos was born from our sensitive interpretation of the world. Wine is a dialogue between earth and sky, between matter and spirit,” said Gérard Bertrand at the unveiling.

The KOSMOS wines, available in red and white, are crafted from a blend of grapes sourced from a selection of biodynamically farmed vineyards within the Châteaux et Domaines Gérard Bertrand estates. They embody the deep conviction that winemaking is a living art, guided by natural cycles and the rhythm of the stars, with the winemaker playing the role of a catalyst through the art of blending.

CFor KOSMOS is presented not merely as a wine, but as an “artistic expression” that connects terroirs and minds, in the spirit of this quote from Wind, Sand, and Stars: “Perhaps the greatness of a calling lies above all in the unity it creates”

A partnership for the benefit of future generations

Through this partnership, Gérard Bertrand wines and the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Foundation for Youth are making a long-term commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at protecting biodiversity and raising awareness among young people.

The collaboration with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Foundation forges a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, humanity and the universe, matter and spirit.

“My great-uncle’s work bridges space and time. It speaks to successive generations of responsibility, connection, and what truly matters. KOSMOS carries on this vision through a different medium: wine.”
Olivier d’AGAY

By combining a winemaking approach focused on natural balance with the humanistic legacy of Saint-Exupéry, this partnership demonstrates how bridges can be built between culture, the environment, and social responsibility.

A launch event in a historic and iconic location

The choice of the Hôtel Lutetia to unveil the KOSMOS project is no coincidence. Indeed, this Parisian hotel is linked to the personal history of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who stayed there with his wife in 1936.

In this iconic setting, the presentation of KOSMOS thus symbolized the convergence of literary heritage, contemporary creativity, and a commitment to the future.
